I thought I would share with you some of the outstanding resources that are available to businesses throughout North County. The services provided by these organizations are available at no cost or have only a minimal cost to the user; however, the value of their services are immeasurable.
Most of us know when we are in over our heads, but we usually don't know what to do in order to turn things around. That's why we need the help and guidance of others who are experienced and can provide the skills and knowledge that can mean the difference between success or failure of the business.
The center is a leading provider of consulting services and workshops for small businesses in North County. The staff has the knowledge and resources to help you build and maintain a successful business. The center is dedicated to increasing the economic vitality of the community by helping small businesses and entrepreneurs build a foundation for success. The center's staff and consultants are there to assist in answering your business questions, along with providing many resources that can help you start and/or expand your business.
The center offers assistance in the following areas: finance/funding, manufacturing, general business, accounting, e-business, marketing, business planning and government contracting.
California Manufacturing Technology Consulting is a nonprofit organization with a mission to help Southern California's small- and medium-sized manufacturers improve their competitiveness. In other words, it offers assistance to manufacturers who need help in reducing costs, boosting sales, retaining employees and remaining in business.
It focuses on manufacturers, who have been declining in numbers throughout the state, and employs professional managers, technical and business experts from a variety of disciplines to work as consultants. The organization is funded through federal and state grants, as well as through private industry fees. It provides a comprehensive survey to the business owner that helps them identify areas of improvement and ways to make them more competitive.
