Contemporary Women of North County installs officers, plans meeting

Contemporary Women of North County installed its new officers for 2007 at its February meeting.

CWONC, a women's volunteer organization, is involved in ongoing charitable and educational projects and offers its services in the community to help raise money for organizations such as Casa de Amparo, a residence for abused and neglected children, and Operation Top Knot, which donates baby clothes and other needed items to new mothers whose husbands are deployed military personnel.
The club's next meeting is scheduled for March 12 at the Wood House in Woodland Park, 1148 Rock Springs Road, San Marcos. Social time will begin at 6 p.m. followed by the meeting at 6:30. For information, call (760) 945-8699 or go to http://www.cwonc.org.
