VISTA ---- A Superior Court judge lowered bail Monday for a Rancho Santa Fe man accused of stabbing a man and a woman in a Del Mar sushi restaurant, and clobbering a man with a bottle in a separate incident.
The bail for Franklin Charles Gatlin was set at $125,000 by Vista Superior Court Judge Aaron Katz, a reduction of $75,000.
Gatlin, 25, is charged with two counts of assault with a deadly weapon and battery.
He is accused of stabbing David Sanford, 22, three times on July 14 at the Zen Sushi restaurant on Jimmy Durante Boulevard and also stabbing a woman who was trying to get out of the way.
Gatlin, who reportedly intervened in an argument involving a friend, is alleged to have fled with another person in a limousine.
The other charge stems from a confrontation at a home in The Bridges development on July 4.
